• Starbucks: Free drink or food item. Any size, any customization. Get the most ridiculous drink on the menu — it is your birthday.
• Denny’s: Free Grand Slam breakfast. No purchase necessary. Just show up with ID.
• IHOP: Free stack of pancakes.
• Jersey Mike’s: Free regular sub and a drink. Requires their app.

How to Maximize It

Check expiration dates. Some freebies are valid on your birthday only. Others give you a window — a week before and after. Starbucks gives you your entire birthday month at some locations.
