How to Clean Dusty Air Vents and Registers Throughout the House
My friend who works in HVAC told me that most people never clean their air vents, and then they wonder why their house is always dusty. Why Vents Get So Bad

Things I Got Wrong
Do not soak the cover and put it back wet. Water on the metal can rust, and a damp cover collects dust faster. Let it air dry fully first.
Do not forget the return vents. The big grille on the wall or ceiling is the one that pulls air in, so it grabs the most dust. Give it extra attention.
Change your filter. A clean vent means nothing if the filter is clogged. Swap the HVAC filter every 60 to 90 days and your vents stay cleaner longer.
